Oyster Growers Return Date Set |

For those of you growing oysters for the South River Federation, it's time to bid a teary farewell to your adolescent mollusks. The Federation will be picking them up via boat on Thursday, July 1. For growers on Pocahontas Creek, it is requested you tie your oyster cages to the household pier at 3590 South River Terrace the night of June 29 or before. Dale Legal will be coordinating this effort and can be reached at 301-980-3193. For all other growers in Loch Haven (e.g., South River, Limehouse Cove) the Federation can pick them up at your pier.
