Santa Pictures are Now Available |

Santa came to visit us in a beautiful sunny winter day to spread holiday cheer, and talk to all the kids about their holiday wishes. This year was special, we had hot chocolate and Christmas cookies, but best of all we even had a full strings orchestra performed by the Loch Haven kids! All the digital pictures taken at this event have been posted on the website in the Photos section. However you must login to see the pictures. Once you have logged in, you may browse and download the pictures you want. Loch Haven Wins Another Shoreline Grant |

Loch Haven was awarded another grant from the Chesapeake Bay Trust to create a living shoreline in front of the swing set on the beach. The area has suffered from significant erosion. The living shoreline will recapture and stabilize the shoreline as well as create a wetland improving water quality and creating habitat for bay creatures such as crabs and fish. Construction is estimated to begin in the June timeframe. Please keep your eye out for your opportunity to volunteer in this exciting project. Once completed, both ends of Cape Loch Haven (the beach) will be stabilized ensuring it will be available for future generations to enjoy! |
